Winner! Team UlysseseSAT2
IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society BRACU Student Branch Chapter in association with Laboratory of Space System Engineering & Technology - LaSSET has organised its flagship event, Satellite Expedition Contest 2020 sponsored by AKASH DTH, partnered with University Space Engineering Consortium - Bangladesh (UNISEC-Bangladesh) on January 2021. In this project, we have designed a space mission to monitor the change in greenhouse gases in our atmosphere and using a spectrometer and to find it's relation with solar radiation. Besides, we have included a carbon nanotube-based nanosensor with the payload to test its operation in the real space which can be used in future space missions to discover various molecules in space.

Honorable Mention, Team Pentatonix
IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh have organized the idea contest that leverages the technical skills of IEEE YP members and promotes humanitarian activities by seeking ideas to minimize the socio-economic impacts after COVID-19 sponsored by IEEE Young Professionals. Under this project, we have proposed a nanomaterial-based electrochemical sensor to detect novel virus structure with an affordable cost compared to the traditional testing kits which will strengthen the healthcare systems to develop more cost-effective testing kits and to tackle future outbreaks efficiently.

Bronze Medal Winner
University Physics Competition (UPC) is one of the most prestigious international competitions for undergraduate students from science and engineering background. Within 48 hours of the competition, we successfully solved the problem on “Sending a Light Sail Propelled Nanocraft to Alpha Centauri”. We’ve successfully analyzed the flight dynamics of the nanocraft; materials should be used for it etc. using our problem-solving skill and represented using various computer software like Matlab, LaTex etc.
